Spanning the SC

This afternoon, while asleep, I found myself on the street, eating a corn tortilla stuffed with melted cheese, while fording a soccer team in green shirts. At the same time my father was on the phone with my roommate, and lying about my whereabouts. When I got back to the apartment, neither did I say anything about the tortilla (I was feeling guilt about eating it), nor did I refute my father’s lies.

Stuff I do

"While you were sleeping your babies grew
the stars shined, the shadows moved
time flew and the phone rang.
There was a silence when the kitchen sang."
